LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The Clark County coroner’s office has released the identity of a man shot to death Wednesday night near Charleston and Maryland Parkway.
Joseph Sheldon Levine, 56, of Las Vegas was killed around 6 p.m. Wednesday on Franklin Avenue after a party became violent, according to police.
Police say they do not know if the suspect was invited to that party. They say she left and broke into a home a few doors down and went toward another home.
Metro said today that 30-year old Marjorie Fiora has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Metro's preliminary investigation indicated Fiora knew the victim and would occasionally stay at the victim’s residence. On Wednesday, the victim was inside of the house while two family members and the suspect were in the backyard of the residence. Fiora entered the residence and a short time later, the family members heard a loud bang. Fiora fled the residence and the family members located the victim inside of the residence.
This is the 88th homicide investigated by Metro this year.
