Residents escape injury after fire near Eastern, Russell

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – No one was injured this afternoon after a fire at a residence near South Eastern Avenue and East Russell Road.

According to Clark County Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief Erik Newman, nearly 30 personnel were called to the home in the 5600 block of Surrey Street. The fire appeared to start in the attic, and the home was undergoing renovations.

The fire was controlled within 10 minutes.
