NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- The Clark County coroner has identified the boy who died two days after being pulled from a backyard pool.

Robert Peterson, 20 months, died Wednesday at UMC.

Police and medical staffers were called to a home on Seabirds Place, near Elkhorn and Aliante Parkway, at about 10:45 a.m. Monday.

Peterson was found floating in the pool by family members, who immediately called 911 and began CPR.

Police said the 20-month-old boy was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.

On Wednesday, the police department's Facebook page announced the boy had died from his injuries.

No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
