LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The situation in Ferguson, Mo., is highlighting race relations between law enforcement and the community it is charged with protecting. In Las Vegas, tensions have boiled over in the past.

In west Las Vegas, some people there still believe they're treated differently. The closure of F Street was seen as way to shut this community off from the rest of Las Vegas.

That being said, the relationship between Metro and the African American community has improved, although some say there's still much to be done.
