Crews battle fire at vacant building on St. Louis Avenue

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A fire hit a vacant building this afternoon in the 1600 block of East St. Louis Avenue.

Tim Sysmanski of Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said the one-story building east of South Maryland Parkway was vacant. The call came in just before 12:10 p.m., and crews had the fire knocked down within the half-hour.

There were no injuries. The fire remains under investigation.
