LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The man accused of shooting another driver and causing a deadly crash on the Strip in February will soon be sent back to southern Nevada.

News 3 has learned that Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval and California Gov. Jerry Brown have signed the extradition papers that will send Ammar Harris back to Las Vegas.

He's expected to be returned sometime between April 24 and May 10.

Police say Harris opened fire on the strip Feb. 21, setting off a chain reaction that killed three people.

He was caught in suburban Los Angeles a week later.
