HENDERSON (Nathan O'Neal: KSNV MyNews3.com) – Henderson police continue to investigate a homicide after the body of a 61-year-old man was found lying on the side of the road this weekend.
Speaking exclusively to News 3, the family of 61-year-old Franklin Campbell just wants justice.
“I just wish somebody would come forward please,” said Joyce Barrow, Campbell’s former wife. “It should be on their conscious. Somebody knows something.”
Investigators say Campbell was the victim of a hit-and-run driver who ran into him on Galleria Drive and then took off. He was found on the side of the road by a jogger early Saturday morning in the right hand turning lane.
The Clark County coroner’s office said Campbell died of blunt force trauma to the head after he was hit by a car.
