LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The Clark County district attorney’s office has released the name of the female suspect in a pair of home invasions Tuesday morning that led to the deaths of two people, including her alleged accomplice.

Natasha Galenn Jackson, 34, of Las Vegas, is facing charges of murder with a deadly weapon; attempted murder with a deadly weapon; burglary with a firearm; attempted home invasion; kidnapping with a deadly weapon; robbery with a deadly weapon; and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon.

According to a Metro police report, Jackson and a white male she identified as “Cody” or “Havoc” had stopped on U.S. Highway 95 near Tropicana Avenue in a white Nissan Altima, which had been reported stolen. An emergency road worker stopped to assist when “Cody” pointed a black, semiautomatic handgun. The worker convinced the pair he had to drive the vehicle or sensors would go off with the Nevada Department of Transportation.

The male suspect directed the worker to drive to a neighborhood near Tropicana and Sandhill Road. They entered a residence in the 3900 block of Autumn Street and informed the male resident that they intended to take his vehicle. The resident and suspect fought for control of the gun. Jackson told police that she helped stab the resident’s wife with a screwdriver, according to the report. The suspect gained control of the gun and shot and killed the resident.

The suspects went out the rear door and climbed the walls of two neighboring yards. Jackson first told “Cody” to shoot the officers, then left another residence and was arrested arrested. “Cody” shot another hostage but was eventually shot and killed by Metro officers.

The Clark County coroner’s office will identify the victim and suspect.
