LAS VEGAS (Antonia Castelan, KSNV MyNews3.com) -- About 20 boaters rolled down Las Vegas Boulevard on Sunday night in protest of the partial government shutdown.
The shutdown meant Lake Mead has been closed so they haven't been able to go out and enjoy the waters.
Protesters with their boats hitched to trucks and cars rolling down the strip last night between 6 and 7 p.m.
Stuart Litjens -- owner of Boulder Boats -- came up with the boat tow down the Strip idea.
The goal was just to draw awareness to just how many different people are affected.
