LAS VEGAS -- Food truck operators interested in having access to three parking spots in downtown Las Vegas on a rotating basis must register for a lottery by 5 p.m. Monday, July 22. The lottery will take place Monday, July 29, at Las Vegas City Hall, 495 S. Main St.

The city’s mobile food vehicle pilot program provides designated parking spaces for food trucks to do business downtown. Those interested in registering for the lottery should contact Parking Services Manager Brandy Stanley at (702) 229-6863.

In order to be included in the lottery food truck operators must have a city of Las Vegas business license. The mobile food vendor license is not a privileged license and can be obtained online at or by contacting business licensing at (702) 229-6281.

A nonrefundable $50 registration fee and registration forms may be filed with Parking Services, on the ground floor of the City Hall parking garage, 500 S. Main St., or with the city’s Business Services Division, on the sixth floor of the Development Services Center, 333 N. Rancho Drive.

Spaces available through the lottery include 100 Bonneville Ave. near the Bonneville Transit Center; the 400 block of South Third Street, near the Regional Justice Center; and 1 Lewis Ave., near City Hall.
