Suspect sought in robbery of passenger on bus

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man suspected of robbing a commuter on a public bus.

Metro says in a news release that the men were on the bus Saturday in the area of Nellis Avenue and Boulder Highway. The suspect attempted to remove property from the pocket of a passenger. The victim attempted to stop the suspect's actions but was pushed to the floor. The suspect grabbed money from the victim and fled the bus on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male adult, 25 to 35 years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-10, thin build, about 150 to 160 pounds, unshaven, striped button-up, long-sleeve shirt and dark jeans.

Tips directly leading to an arrest or indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
