LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – Police have tracked down the driver who hit a woman crossing the street near Charleston and Fremont and then drove off.
The woman is in very serious condition this afternoon after the hit-and-run incident.
Metro Officer Laura Meltzer said a call came in just before 1:25 p.m. Witnesses say the victim was struck on Olive Street near Russell Avenue.
According to Metro, a homeless woman was sitting in front of apartment complex when she was hit by female driver in vehicle similar to an Oldsmobile with California license plates.
The car is said to have significant front windshield damage, although the colors described of the car ranged from gray to gold to champagne.
The victim was transported to University Medical Center Trauma.
