Metro: Man attacked, car stolen after giving ride to suspects

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a pair of suspects who robbed a man near Harmon and Spencer.

According to a Metro news release, the suspects, a man and woman, approached a man outside a convenience store around 12:15 a.m. Aug. 5 near Boulder Highway and Sahara and asked him for a ride. He agreed.

Once reaching the Harmon and Spencer area, the man asked to be dropped off. When the victim pulled over, he was struck in the head by the male suspect who was sitting behind him. The suspects then stole the victim's vehicle and cellular phone. The vehicle was later recovered in Arizona.

One suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35 years old, 5-foot-8, 150 pounds with black hair. He was last seen wearing a short-sleeve shirt and shorts.

The other suspect is described as a white female, approximately 25 years old, wearing a long, black-and-white striped dress. She is possibly pregnant.
