Suspect in sexual assault turns himself in to Metro

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) — A suspect in a sexual assault July 22 near Durango Drive and the 215 has turned himself in to Metro detectives.

Nikholeus “Niko” Cleland, 17, has been certified as an adult and was transported today to the Clark County Detention Center where he faces charges of: first-degree kidnapping; two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon; three counts of sexual assault with a deadly weapon; open and gross lewdness; assault with a deadly weapon; and battery to commit sexual assault.

According to Metro, detectives say the suspect pulled a gun on a woman pumping gas, forced her into her car and sexually assaulted her.
