NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – North Las Vegas Animal Control officers found 112 cats and a dog at a North Las Vegas residence.

North Las Vegas Police Officer Aaron Patty said the call came in around 11:30 a.m. Thursday complaining of a “foul smell and lots of cats.” Officials say urine and feces were throughout the home on the 800 block of Harp Way, near West Gowan Road and Revere Street.

Investigators learned that the air conditioner was not working, among other safety concerns.

All the animals have been taken to Lied Animal Shelter. Charges against the homeowner are pending.
