NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – What usually appears to be a calm, quiet community was shaken early this morning, when a North Las Vegas home became the focus of a homicide investigation.
North Las Vegas police said it is possible the remains of two people had been discovered early Monday after a welfare check at a home near North Lamb Boulevard and East Tropical Parkway.
North Las Vegas police Officer Chrissie Coon called the scene "gruesome" and said remains found inside the home on Stibor Street may be those of two individuals.
She said the Clark County coroner has some tough work ahead to process the scene and determine the identities as well as cause and manner of death.
