NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A toddler who was pulled from a backyard pool this morning is in “extremely critical condition,” according to the North Las Vegas Police Department.

The accident occurred just before 10:45 a.m. in the 7000 block of Seabirds Place, near North Aliante Parkway and Elkhorn Road.

NLV Police Sgt. Chrissie Coon said family members found the male child in the pool and immediately began CPR and called 911. The child was transported to UMC Trauma. Detectives remain at the scene to determine how the child fell into the pool.
