Vehicle accident causes power outage near Nellis, Charleston

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A motor vehicle accident this morning has caused a power outage for more than 200 customers, according to the NV Energy website.

Power has been out for 204 customers since around 6:30 a.m. Customers affected live near the southwest block of Charleston and Nellis. NV Energy says restoration is expected around 1:30 p.m.

Also, 82 customers are without power near Corbett Street and Ruffian Road in northwest Las Vegas. NV Energy says this is a planned shutdown for service improvement. Power is expected back at 10 a.m.
