PAHRUMP (KSNV MyNews3) – A search for a man suspected of reckless driving after a high-speed pursuit led to six methamphetamine-related arrests.

Nye County Sheriff’s Department detectives continue to search for Robert Taber, 25, of Pahrump.

According to a news release, NSCO Street Crime Detectives attempted to pull Taber over on Thursday. Taber led officers on a high-speed pursuit throughout the western part of Pahrump.

During this pursuit, Taber endangered numerous individuals operating on the roadway and also came within feet of hitting a pedestrian in Comstock Park. Taber later abandoned the vehicle.

On Monday, detectives searching for Taber were conducting surveillance on the home of Ron Hoover, 57, of Pahrump. Hoover’s vehicle approached, then turned and started to travel in the desert.

Detectives say Hoover attempted to discard a package containing meth. When they stopped the car, detectives say they found more meth and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation continued and led to the arrests of Dominique Colon, 26; Barbara Bell, 55; Kenneth Lembke, 54; Lynn Barwell, 45; and Seth Holtwick, 33, all of Pahrump on charges of using/Being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bell and Holtwick face additional drug-related charges.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Taber is asked to contact NCSO detectives at (775) 751-7000 or can submit information confidentially via email to ncso_detectives@co.nye.nv.us.
