LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The attorney representing Brenda Stokes Wilson is expected today to formally remove himself from the case.

Tony Liker says he will no longer represent Stokes Wilson because she cannot afford to pay him.

Stokes Wilson will likely be represented by a public defender.

She is accused of kidnapping and murdering 10-year-old Jade Morris in December.

She is also accused of attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon for slashing a co-worker's face at The Bellagio.

Stokes Wilson has pleaded not guilty to all those charges.

Her trial date is set for July 15.
