The Midwest is taking another beating.
Blizzard conditions have closed highways in Texas, and Kansas is beginning to feel the effects of the latest storm.
The National Weather Service posted video from Amarillo, Texas on social media websites Monday to warn travelers about perilous conditions: Hurricane force winds, 12-to-18 inches of snow and drifts as high as ten feet.
It was so bad Interstate 40 just outside the city was shutdown.
The storm is not as intense in Wichita, Kansas yet, but it is still causing problems.
Thick, heavy flakes are making roadways tough to navigate.
The system is going to linger for a while.
Forecasters say the snow will continue in parts of the Midwest through Tuesday morning, leaving many looking for a little relief after the back-to-back winter blasts.
