Keeping watch on Hurricane Sandy

LAS VEGAS -- The effects of Hurricane Sandy are being hundreds of miles away.

The storm is churning up the East Coast and forecasters say severe weather related to their hurricane could lead to dangerous conditions on the Great Lakes.

New 3's Dana Wagner has more in his forecast for Monday, Oct. 29, 2012.

Today has been sunny with highs 74 to 79 on the west side of the valley and 78 to 83 on the east side. Winds generally light.

Tonight should be mostly clear with lows 52 to 55. Winds generally light.
