LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- We had lots of sunshine this morning but it didn't last. Just before the noon hour we saw a number of cloud streaming in from the northwest. This is part of this winter storm that will be moving through this afternoon and tonight.
Today look for artly sunny skies with scattered rain showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. It is breezy with ighs around 50 on the west side of the valley and around 60 on the east side. Southwest wind 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
Tonight looks mostly cloudy with rain showers early in the evening. Then scattered rain showers in the late evening and overnight with lows 38 to 42. North wind 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. Chance of showers 70 percent.
