Homicide Detectives are seeking anyone who has knowledge of a dark blue sedan seen in the area during the early morning hours of May 21. Additionally, the victim’s purse was taken from the crime scene. Attached is a photo of what the purse looked like when new. News 3 partners with AlertID - What began in Washoe County has now expanded to Las Vegas. “It’s using new technology the way new technology is supposed to be used,” says Bob Fisher with the Nevada Broadcasters Association. The site allows users to post comments and follow alerts, much like social media sites. Also, alerts are sent via text message and e-mail. The site has already proved a success. In one instance an older man went missing and was located with the aid of AlertID.
