Assistance sought in connection with stabbing investigation

LAS VEGAS -- The city of Las Vegas Deputy City Marshal Unit is investigating a battery with a deadly weapon that resulted in a stabbing on March 5 at James Gay Park, located at Owens Avenue and B Street.

Investigators are looking for 40-year-old Anthony Johnson in connection with the battery. If the public has any information about this crime, or the whereabouts of Johnson, they are urged to contact Deputy City Marshal Investigators at (702) 229-3223 or email or

The city’s Department of Detention and Enforcement provides the public with law enforcement services at city parks and facilities through the deputy city marshals, operates the city’s detention center and provides animal control services in the city of Las Vegas.
