LAS VEGAS -- Detectives and officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the North Las Vegas Police Department worked together to end a crime spree allegedly committed by two brothers which began December 30 of last year.
The suspects targeted women walking through the parking lots of retail businesses and casinos, forcibly taking the victim’s purses or wallets.
At least seven incidents occurred within LVMPD’s jurisdiction, and one incident occurred in North Las Vegas.
Detectives from both jurisdictions released photographs and information to the media to assist in identifying the suspects, which led to several tips from the community.
The investigation ultimately led to the arrest of two brothers.
Brent Cline, 22, and Raymond Cline, 24, both of North Las Vegas, were taken into custody and currently face charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and attempted robbery.
The investigation into this crime spree is ongoing, and additional charges are expected.
