LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) –
A suspect sought in several open and gross lewdness cases involving juveniles has been arrested, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Jayson David Lewis, 28, was apprehended on Tuesday and faces one charge of coercion with force or threat of force and six counts of open and gross lewdness. He is being held on $75,000 bond and faces a preliminary hearing at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 17.
The inital incidents occurred in the morning of Nov. 16 in the area of Tree Line Drive and East Charleston Boulevard near Las Vegas High School.
In each incident, the teenage victims were walking to attend a school function when they observed the suspect driving a white sedan. He approached the victims offering a ride then proceeded to expose his genital area. The victims were able to get away, and the suspect drove off.
