Las Vegas Metro detectives seek public’s assistance to identify sexual assault suspect seen fleeing on surveillance video.
The Metro 911 call center received a call on September 3 at 3 a.m. from a person reporting she had been the victim of an attempted sexual assault in the area of Wyoming Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.
An investigation into this incident indicates a 23-year-old female victim was handcuffed and groped by an unknown male suspect who identified himself as a federal agent.
The suspect removed the handcuffs from the victim and fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, 45 to 55 years of age, standing approximately 6-foot tall and weighing 200 to 220 pounds. He has brown hair and a long goatee style beard with streaks of grey in the middle.
The suspect was last seen on foot in the 1200 block of Las Vegas Blvd South. A surveillance photograph of the suspect has been released to the media.
