Metro is seeking the public's help in finding two suspects in a shooting Friday night in central Las Vegas.
About 10:40 p.m. on Friday, officers of the Bolden Area Command were dispatched to the 3100 block of Chadford Place (South Valley View Boulevard and Pennwood Avenue) to investigate reports of a person shot. Officers discovered a man lying between two vehicles suffering from an apparent gunshot. The victim was transported to the UMC Trauma Center in critical condition and later died.
A preliminary investigation conducted by detectives indicated the victim was standing in front of a residence on Chadford Place. He was waiting for a family member when he was shot by an unknown suspect or suspects. Two males were seen fleeing from the scene. The suspects have not been identified and no arrests have been made.
Suspect number one was armed with a handgun. He is described as a Hispanic male, mid to late teens with a thin build. He wore blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt.
Suspect number two is described as a Hispanic male, short with a stocky build, in his mid to late teens and wore a white polo shirt.
The victim remains in very critical condition as of noon Sunday, according to Metro.
