Metro seeks suspect in string of sandwich shop robberies

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man suspected of armed robberies of several sandwich shops in the valley’s southwest area.

According to Metro, the suspect enters the business and orders food. When he is at the register, he pulls out a handgun and demands money. The suspect places the money into a plastic bag provided by the business and leaves with the food and money.

The suspect is described as a black male adult in his late 20s to early 30s, 5-foot-9 with a thin build with glasses. He also has been reported as having a beard or goatee.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit www.crimestoppersofnv.com. Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
