PAHRUMP (KSNV MyNews3.com) –
The Nye County Sheriff’s Office is searching for three men suspected of committing an armed robbery at a Pahrump residence Sunday night.
According to a news release, the men forcibly entered a home in the 1000 block of Marne Court through the back door armed with a shotgun. They collected valuables from the home while the homeowners were forced throughout the home at the suspects’ commands. The robbers then fled on foot from the residence and are believed to have gotten in a vehicle a short distance away.
An investigation revealed that the suspects and victims had a prior relationship and it was a targeted attack.
NCSO General Assignment Detectives responded and during the subsequent investigation were able to identify that Joshua Oliveira was believed to be involved with orchestrating this robbery.
Deputies and detectives conducted a search of Oliveira’s residence and recovered some of the electronic equipment that was taken from the residence during the robbery.
Detectives are requesting that anyone with information as to where Oliveira or can identify the other suspects to please contact the Nye County Sheriff’s Office at (775) 751-7000. They should be considered armed and dangerous.
