LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- The Las Vegas Metro sexual assault section is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying potential victims in a series of sex crimes involving 19-year-old Lajuan Cole.
On August 30, 2013 Cole approached a woman who was walking her daughter to a bus stop in the 8800 block of Spencer Street.
The suspect approached the woman and asked for directions then proceeded to grab her breasts pressing his body against her.
The victim and suspect fell to the ground where a struggle ensued. The victim attempted to hold the suspect but he was able to flee from the scene.
As a result of this investigation detectives developed Cole as the suspect in additional incidents which occurred during the previous days in the 9700 block of South Eastern Avenue.
Lajuan Cole was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on charges of Robbery and five counts of Open and Gross Lewdness. He has since been released on bail.
Metro has released a surveillance photo and booking photo of Cole.
The investigation into these incidents remains ongoing.
