Robbery suspects punch witness making getaway

LAS VEGAS -- Metro police are looking for two suspects wanted for robbing a small business near the 3700 block of S. Las Vegas Boulevard on Dec. 27, 2013 at approximately 10:20 p.m.

The first suspect waited until the employee was distracted and approached the cash register. Suspect 2 stood nearby and acted as a lookout.

Suspect No. 1 then opened the register and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

After the theft, both suspects started to walk away. A witness saw the crime and approached suspect No. 1 who then punched the witness and knocked him to the ground.

Both suspects fled on foot and with the money.

These same individuals are suspected in other similar robberies in the valley.

Suspect No. 1 is described as a black male adult, 5-foot-10-inches and weighing about 170 pounds. He is about 25 years of age and last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with white stripes, black pants, and black Chicago White Sox baseball hat.

Suspect No. 2 is also a black male adult. He stands about 5-foot-11-inches, weighs around 175 pounds. He is believed to be about25 years old and last seens with a black plaid long sleeve shirt, camouflage pants, and wearing a black Chicago White Sox baseball hat.

Police have released a video clip of the crime and photos of the suspects.
