LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a 28-year-old son is accused of killing his mother and wounding his father in a pre-dawn shooting outside their southeast Las Vegas home.
Records show that Jeffrey H. Wilson was arrested Wednesday and jailed pending an initial court appearance on murder and attempted murder charges.
Police say officers arriving to a report of gunfire found a man wounded and woman dead in a white sedan about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday on a street not far from the Boulder Station casino-hotel.
Authorities didn't immediately make their names public.
The man was taken to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
The identity of the deceased victim and the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
