Suspect sought in 2 check cashing store robberies

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man suspected in a pair of robberies at a check cashing business.

According to a Metro news release, the suspect threatened clerks at the business in the 2000 block of North Jones Boulevard and obtained an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen fleeing into a residential neighborhood.

The suspect is described as a male, 5-foot-9 to 6-0, weighing between 155 and 200 pounds.

Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
