Police appeal for public’s help in fatal attack on Hispanic man

LAS VEGAS -- Metro police are asking for the public’s help to locate the person or persons involved in a Monday incident that left a man dead.

Metro patrol officers on Monday responded to an apartment complex in the 500 block of North Lamb Boulevard at around 5:10 a.m. to investigate reports of an unconscious male.

Officers found a male suffering from unknown injuries.

The victim, identified as 44-year-old Juan Martinez was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on Tuesday.

Martinez is described as a Hispanic male 5-foot-8, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in this case.
