Man indicted in neighbor's death over slamming doors

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A Clark County grand jury indicted a man accused of shooting his neighbor to death over slammed doors.

Demetrius Lamar Brock, 33, is being held without bond in the death of Tyrollia Belt on Nov. 5, 2012, at the Falcon Landing Apartments in the 5000 block of Madre Mesa Drive, near North Rancho Drive and North Decatur Boulevard.

Brock, originally from Maricopa County, Ariz., will return to court at 8:15 a.m. Dec. 18.

Also indicted today were:

Johnny Jones, 34, on multiple counts of burglary and robbery occurring between May and October. Judge Linda Ball set his bail at $860,000. His next court appearance is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Jan. 8.

Eric L. Newman, 37, on one count of trafficking in a controlled substance. He is being held on $150,000, and is set to return to court at 9 a.m. Jan. 19.
