LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- A Clark County Grand Jury indicted three members of a copper theft ring on multiple charges this morning.
Joshua Justin Paulo, 25, Shawn Andrew Miller, 18, and Dylan Dybczynski, 19, were indicted on charges of robbery, grand larceny and burglary. Paulo and Miller are also face battery charges for the attack on a security guard. Paulo faces additional attempted murder charges after slipping his handcuffs and shooting a police officer.
Bail is set at $300,000 for Paulo, $200,000 for Miller and $100,000 for Dybczynski. They are scheduled to return to court Oct. 16.
Also indicted today:
Herbert Lee Johnson III, 21, who faces 23 felony counts involving robbery with use of a deadly weapon and burglary while in possession of a firearm. Prosecutors say Johnson committed eight robberies during a one-month spree.
His bail was set at $500,000. He is already being held in an unrelated murder case. Johnson returns to court at 9 a.m. Oct. 17
Jeffrey Allen Hurt, 24, and Jody Terell Hunt, 32, on charges of attempted murder; conspiracy to commit robbery; robbery with use of a deadly weapon; battery and discharging a firearm. Prosecutors say the suspects during two victims into a parking lot to commit a robbery, and one of the victims was shot in the head about the left ear.
Bail was set at $200,000 for each. Their next court hearing is set for 8 a.m. Oct. 16.
