LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A Clark County grand jury this morning indicted a man suspected in the shooting death of her mother’s boyfriend.
Rolandis Summers, 20, is charged with one count each of murder, attempted murder and burglary with a deadly weapon in the Sept. 10 slaying of Anthony Merritt in the 200 block of Orland Street, near Jones Boulevard and U.S. 95.
Antoine Bronson, Merritt’s roommate, was wounded in the incident. According to the Metro police report, Summers said he had heard Merritt talk about being a “Blood,” interpreted it as a gang threat and shot him in self-defense.
Summers is being held without bond. His next scheduled hearing is set for Dec. 9.
Also indicted today were Mohamed Hassanin, Ndricim Beqiri and Kosta Hysa on one count of conspiracy to commit a crime and two counts of burglary. Hysa also faces two counts of theft. Their next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 19.
