LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A Clark County grand jury indicted two people this morning on sex trafficking charges related to three underage girls.
David Eugene Walker Jr., 23, and Corianna Mona Butler, 21, face several felonies involving first-degree kidnapping; sex trafficking of a child under 16 and under 14; and child abuse. Walker also faces a charge of living from the earnings of a prostitute.
The district attorney’s office said two of the victims were 15, and one was 13.
Walker is being held without bond. Bail was set for Butler at $150,000. Their next hearing is set for 8:30 a.m. Oct. 29.
Also indicted today:
Manuel Ochoa-Sosa, 39, and Victor Oroczo-Cernas, on one count each of conspiracy to violate uniform controlled substances act; trafficking in a controlled substance; and transport of a controlled substance. Prosecutors say the suspects had more than two pounds of heroin.
Bail was set at $150,000 for each. Their next hearing is 9 a.m. Oct. 29.
Filiberto Carranza, 31, Pedro Naranjo, 26, and Jesse Luna, 25, on a felony charge of discharging a firearm into a structure. They, along with Joel Gonzalez, also face a charge of possession of a firearm by an ex-felon.
Carranza and Luna each have $150,000 bail, and Naranjo is facing a $100,000 bail. Gonzalez is being held without bail because of an earlier conviction for attempted murder in 2004. Their next hearing is at 8 a.m. Oct. 28.
Ashanae Ricalls, on one felony count of robbery. The next hearing for Ricalls is Nov. 6.
