LAS VEGAS (KSNV – Metro has arrested a male suspect in connection to a homicide Friday morning on Durango and Sahara.

Today at approximately 6:17 a.m., Metro officers were dispatched at 6:17 a.m. to the 2600 block of South Durango Drive to investigate reports of a person in need of emergency assistance.

Officers discovered the body of a deceased woman inside the home.

Homicide detectives were requested to the scene and took over the investigation.

Through the course of their investigation a male suspect was identified and later taken into custody.

Police have not yet named the suspect.
