Metro investigates shooting death off Vegas Valley Drive

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting death Wednesday night in the northeast part of the city.

According to a Metro news release, officers responded just after 11:45 p.m. to an apartment in the 4500 block of Carriage Park Drive, which is north of East Vegas Valley Drive in between Lamb and Nellis boulevards, to investigate a report of a man found deceased.

Arriving patrol officers discovered a man deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.

Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and are investigating. No suspect or suspects have been identified.

The identity of the deceased as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
