Metro arrests suspect in robbery, sexual assault

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A man wanted for a robbery and sexual assault at a business in the 800 block of South Rancho Drive has been arrested.

Vance Johnson, 53, was booked Monday at the Clark County Detention Center. He faces charges of burglary; robbery with deadly weapon; coercion with force or threat of force; and sexual assault with use of deadly weapon.

The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. Sept. 19. Metro says the suspect entered the front door of the business, approached the victim and threatened her with a knife. The suspect demanded money, forced the victim into a hallway, and then attempted to sexually assault the victim.
