LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- A man is calling foul following a major NFL game last season and is taking his complaint to federal court.
John E. Williams III has filed a $40 million lawsuit claiming the NFL allowed the Seattle Seahawks to restrict tickets sales.
Williams' suit centers on the NFC Championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers.
He alleges the Seattle Seahawks limited ticket sales to a handful of states and two Canadian provinces, denying the public the chance to buy tickets.
It also emphasizes that tickets for a game played in a public stadium should be available to everyone.
The NFL, Seahawks and Ticketmaster are among those named in the suit.
The defendants have until May 6 to respond.
