Coroner ID's driver killed in wrong-way crash on U.S. 95

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Clark County Coroner has identified the person killed after a head-on collision this morning on northbound U.S. 95, near Lee Canyon as 28-year-old Miguel Sanchez of Henderson.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliott said a gray Honda Civic was driving the wrong way on northbound 95 at 5:09 a.m. when it collided near mile marker 101 with a white pickup truck.

Sanchez, the driver of the Civic, was killed at the scene.

The driver of the pickup was transported to UMC for back pain.
