Coroner ID's man killed in crash on I-15 near Jean

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- The Clark County Coroner's office has identified the man who was killed in a traffic accident Thursday night on Interstate 15 near Jean.

The Coroner said Christopher Kutlu, 29, was killed in a traffic accident Thursday night on Interstate 15 near Jean. No residence was provided. The cause and manor of death have not be released.

Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal accident that happened around 6:15 p.m. near mile marker 4 near Primm.

According to NHP troopers, a driver in a Chevy Suburban hit a man who was near a disabled pickup truck. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The right lanes of I-15 were blocked for several hours.
