LAS VEGAS -- The Nevada Department of Transportation will close the northbound Summerlin HOV Flyover Bridge for two days next week for an inspection.
The closure is necessary for NDOT to inspect the bridge and enter it into a federal inventory of bridge structures.
The northbound Summerlin HOV Flyover Bridge will be closed from Torrey Pines to Summerlin Parkway on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 6-7, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day.
Opened in July, the flyover was designed to provide convenient and safe access to Summerlin Parkway from the U.S. 95 carpool lanes. The flyover eliminates the need for drivers in the northbound carpool lanes to weave across traffic to access Summerlin Parkway.
