Rollover leaves woman trapped in car on U.S. 95

LAS VEGAS (Las Vegas Sun) -- A woman was trapped inside a silver Hyundai after it rolled over today on U.S. 95 north near the 215 Beltway. No other vehicles were involved.

Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the rollover about 8:05 p.m. The accident briefly closed down U.S. 95 northbound before the 215 Beltway interchange, according to a Regional Transportation Commission traffic alert.

Clark County and Henderson firefighters responded to the crash and removed the woman from the vehicle. The woman was transported to a local hospital in nonlife-threatening condition, Elliott said.

Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
