LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – A woman was struck in a crosswalk this morning, and police are calling it a hit and run near Las Vegas Boulevard South and Charleston Boulevard.

Lanes that had been closed have been reopened, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Metro says the accident occurred just after 6:35 a.m. The victim was transported to UMC Trauma with serious injuries.

The vehicle involved was first reported to be a black Saturn, but that might not be accurate.
