Railroad work to affect traffic on Eastern, Warm Springs

LAS VEGAS -- A Union Pacific Railroad project will close sections of Eastern Avenue and Warm Springs Road for several days during the next two weeks.

Eastern between Warm Springs and Sunset Road will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday, April 4. Traffic will be detoured to Pecos Road during the closure.

Then from Monday, April 8, to Wednesday, April 10, Warm Springs will be closed from Eastern to Pecos. Traffic will be detoured to Sunset during this closure.

According to information provided to Clark County, the project will include removing sections of railroad track.
